When a manager has an empty shift to fill, they can look at Employee Availability or Shift Interest, or they could send a memo. But in some workforces these feature aren't used, or aren't suitable for filling shifts at short notice.

A feature would allow a manager to immediately offer the empty shift to selected/all employees and get immediate responses. Auto assignment of first responders might be also be an option.
